If you want a steady flow of cover songs for your event, hire a DJ--they need love & money too! But . . . . . . if you're hungry for a musical stew of pensive love songs & bent commentaries on the human condition, I'm ready to cook for you!
That said, I realize that my original songs must be ENTERTAINING, INTERESTING and PLEASING TO THE EAR. And, who knows? I may throw in an occasional song by Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver or Martin Mull--my musical muses.
It is my firm belief that no one should take the stage unless s/he is ready to be in control of the event and make people, for a short time, forget whatever they want to forget or simply to enjoy the evening. Afterall, even a jukebox can play music!
Look around and give me a shout if you need me for your special event. You can hear some unembellished versions of my songs on the link below. I plan a 2009 CD project and will put the polished versions here and on Sonicbids.com.
I prefer to perform solo but can lean on my buddies to join me when needed! I play only smoke-free or outdoor venues and am rarin' bring my songs to eager ears!
